It's not often The Studio & Co opens its doors to the pubic, so when they do, it's like an invitation to Aladdin's Cave filled with treasures. There's so much eye candy going on of beautiful, impressive, handcrafted, quality goodies in the way of glassware, art, lighting and more, you could end up with a strain from rubber necking. With three types of exciting upcoming events, it's going to be a tough decision as to whether to attend the VIP Event with it's specials on the night, or the Open Studio with guest creatives, and of course the must-experience Out of the Furnace dinner events. It's not difficult to let yourself go and take the opportunity to experience all three, a must for the pleasures of the soul.
With Christmas close on our heels, the VIP Event on Thursday 14 December 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at - 200 Marine Parade, Hastings for an exclusive one night only event, is a must-do to put on your list. It's a great opportunity to pick up some special offers happening throughout the evening. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival, explore the beautiful space, sign up for a class, or shop for that special someone, perhaps yourself, from a unique collection of local artists like Leisa Wharington, Julie Hamilton, Megan Greenwood (Emgee Jewels), Leigh Houliston and Stephen Morris.
I attended their Christmas Open Studio Event recently at The Studio & Co, and could hardly breathe from being so excited to be in such an arty environment filled with ambience. On that day, as a Christmas event, it was filled with many other creatives and their handmade wares, market style, complete with lemonade stand and food trucks. What a sight to behold on the grounds of the property.
Tis the season to be jolly, so why not find out about Open Day with Special Guests. upcoming on the Sunday after the VIP Event, while you're at The Studio. Open Studio on Sunday the 17th will have wonderful products from the resident creatives, as well as special guests like -
