The Asian Civilisations Museum is hosting a special activity for kids from now till 2 November. Entitled 'Once Upon a Time in Asia: The Story Tree', the programme encourages parents to bring their children to the museum and learn more about the history, heritage and arts of Singapore . The Asian Civilisations Museum located at the historic Empress Place Building, is the first in the region to present a broad yet integrated perspective of pan-Asian cultures and civilisations.
The Museum's collection of objects related to the tree of life across many cultures inspire the original interactive ensembles used in this specially curated programme. Your kids will enjoy exploring the museum and learning more about trees, have fun with art and craft to take home and listen to Asian tales from story tellers. Running daily from 10am to 5pm, this programme is recommended for kids aged 4 to 9 years. Best of all, admission is FREE for locals so make your way to the Asian Civilisations Museum for a fun day out with the kids.
