The Star Hotels gets a new look
South Melbourne's The Star Hotel has undergone a transformation just in time for summer, re-opening with a new look interior, beer garden and delicious menu.

The Melbourne pub, located on Clarendon St has re-opened with elements of a traditional beer-garden including recycled timber decking, lush green turf and balloon lighting as well as a two-story loft style layout.
The Star Hotel will showcase a rustic and industrial design with a variety of spaces to sit back and enjoy a great meal or drinks including a downstairs pub, upstairs function space and rooftop terrace.
The Star Hotel has made a bit of history for itself in the 1970's when it was a live music hall featuring rockers such as AC/DC and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the venue has kept the traditional of live music with weekly schedules of sets by Melbourne's best lounge DJs.

As the newest place for post-work drinks or a Sunday sesh in the sunshine, The Star Hotel is one of the first Australian pubs to feature an innovative overhead CUB Duo Tank system that houses non-pasteurised beer direct from the brewery, providing a fresher and crisper taste.
Chef Danny Callen, previously of St Kilda's The Post, has also joined as The Star Hotel's head chef bringing with him a fresh take on Australian pub food7 days a week.
