I've almost forgotten about this place until my brother, who recently visited from overseas, requested baked potatoes (or spuds as we call them). So was the first thing that came back to mind. It is a small unassuming little takeaway shop in the northeastern suburb of Greenacres but I reckon it sells the best spuds.

I ordered the lamb yiros spud while my brother ordered the bacon deluxe spud. They were both beautiful; tender and fluffy on the inside and very satisfying, especially on a cold winter's night. All spuds are served with sour cream and butter. The lamb yiros filling consists of cheese, coleslaw, marinated lamb and onion & garlic sauce. The bacon deluxe filling consists of cheese, grilled bacon, beetroot and coleslaw. Besides these, there are also about 20 other fillings (a huge variety) to choose from including chilli con carne, Hawaiian, pulled pork, baked beans, etc. The spuds come in two sizes - regular and small - for $9.50 and $8.50 respectively. For the kids, an $8.50 kids pack (spud, jelly & drink) is available.

We were there early at around five in the afternoon so the wait wasn't very long. However, be prepared for a queue during peak hours. And it would be advisable to ring ahead and pre-order if you're thinking of heading there near closing time as they can sell out.
