Markets, food, music & celebration at the National Museum
To celebrate the last day of the National Museum of Australia's exhibition "So That You Might Know Each Other: Faith and Culture in Islam", the National Museum of Australia will be hosting The Souq A Festival of Culture.

There will be delicious food, market stalls, performances and music inspired by Islamic culture. This cultural celebration for the whole community will be presented in association with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Canberra.

This event has free entry and will be held between 11am - 3pm.

After the celebration, ensure you walk inside the museum and view the free exhibition which exhibits objects that celebrate the achievements of Muslim people, their daily lives, customs and spirituality from textiles and clothing to musical instruments, ceramics and jewellery from many different countries. See the National Museum of Australia website for details.
