I'm writing this article hoping not to offend any Vegan readers, but really want to bring The Skin Thing to the attention of lovers of Ugg Boots - and I'm sure there are many of us who love our Ugg Boots for the colder months.

We popped in to The Skin Thing to find my grandson a pair of moccasins - he really dislikes shoes of any variety - and we are hoping the softness of an Ugg Boot might be the way to go. I was very impressed with actually how busy this outlet is, with a constant stream of people stopping to shop, including families who appeared to be in to get their winter slippers for the whole family.
The Skin Thing is a family operated business and has been operating on the Sunshine Coast for more than 45 years specialising in Cow Hides, Sheepskins and Ugg Boots, with a wide variety of other products on offer as well.
Akubra Hats
The Ugg Boots and Slippers are plentiful and far better value than purchasing in any other retail outlet. They have Moccasins, Men and Women's slippers and even Skuffs (slip on slippers).
The Skin Thing offers an on-line shop, so ordering on-line should be a breeze, but we did find the staff extremely helpful and informative, which made for a very pleasant shopping experience.
And, yes, we managed to get our grandson his very own pair of Ugg Boots, which he insisted on wearing immediately and very happily walked out the shop with them on.
