A market day with a twist is coming to the southern suburbs of Perth next month.

Instead of pouring through the piggy bank for cash, 'The Simple Swap' is an opportunity for market goers to trade their skills or trinkets for goodies from a variety of stalls (with all traded items donated to charity by the event organisers).

Suggested ideas on what to trade:
A song
Some home-made jewelry
Unused toys from Christmas
Those brand-new socks from Gran
One of your paintings/drawings
An unopened perfume

A Delish Ice icy pop
A gourmet Wassup Dog
Herbs from The Greenhouse
Jam from Gran & Pops Preserves
Drinks from Refresh Juices

There will also be free entertainment from Eerie Anne in the morning and Lauren O'Hara in the afternoon.

The Simple Swap runs from 10am - 3pm on Saturday 7th May 2016 at the corner of Betram and Johnson Roads in Wellard.

This is an inspiring and innovative sustainable idea. Well done to the developer/owner for sticking their neck out on this one. This level of commitment is rarely seen in this sector in Perth.
