Grab a delicious meal
The Settlement Hotel is located on the South Gippsland Highway in Cranbourne. It is one of the best pubs in the local area and my favourite place for a delicious chicken schnitzel dinner.
My family and I come here at least twice a year to celebrate Mother's Day or a birthday. The restaurant has a great cosy old style feel to it and we always have a good time we dine out here.
My favourite meal at the Settlement is the chicken schnitzel, chips, salad and gravy. They always cook it wonderfully and sometimes don't charge us for the gravy which is a nice gesture.
The pizzas there are also really delicious and taste authentic too.
My family like coming here because occasionally we have young kids with us and there is a children's playground within the restaurant for them to run around in. There is also a few skill tester machines which make for some rest entertainment after dinner.
The wait staff here are really nice and helpful. They are always up for a little conversation when it isn't busy. They directly show you where you need to be seated and offer their full assistance should you need it.
The restaurant is very clean, the toilets are well maintained and the smoking area is very far from the main entrance which is great so you don't need to worry about walking into a puff of smoke.
The Settlement also has a sports bar and pokie machines. You can also stay there overnight for a small price which is handy for those who may be drinking.
Overall, the family and I enjoy this lovely pub and every time we drive past it, we always say "we must go back to the Settlement for a meal!"
