Last week, by chance, I stumbled across The School of Life - a pop-up facility on William St in Northbridge.



The School is an initiative that has been running in London since 2008. All throughout Europe The School of Life has become an institution (pun intended). In Amsterdam, Paris, Antwerp, Belgrade and Istanbul The School offers workshops, classes, secular sermons, retreats and therapies in person.

The School of Life opened in Melbourne in March this year and has been going strong in the CBD enhancing the emotional intelligence of course attendees.

The recently opened pop-up School on William Street is offering after work and weekend Spring sessions on all things completely inspiring.



My cousin and I spent over around 2 hours there talking to the beautiful retail manager Kate and learning about The School (and a bit about ourselves too).

The School of Life is offering a series of 'How To's' for the average human conscious of living a fuller life. Among the Spring term courses are, to name but a few: How to be creative, How to be confident, How to have better conversations and How to find a job you love.



Each course will be offered 3 times throughout the spring so you've got ample opportunity to get along and experience The School of Life difference. Open your mind to philosophy, literature, psychology and visual arts. Enhance your work, relationships, play and yourself.

The School also offers a variety of books, tools, games and creative pieces to help improve your outlook on your world and your experience in it.
