The Scandinavian Ice Cream Company has been an icon in Hesse St, Queenscliff for decades and the look and interior has changed little over the years, with its distinctive blue tiles lining the outside of the shop, you cant miss it.
Parents who flocked there as children now bring their kids to enjoy the nostalgic summers by the seaside.
Even though there are a few ice cream shops along the main street, this one seemed to attract young and old and forever busy! People lining up outside the shop, waiting patiently to step inside and drooling over the wide range of flavours on display.
So after exploring Queenscliffs main drag, I had made the decision to try one of their many flavours.. Licorice it was, I didn't expect to bite into real licorice pieces buried in the ice cream, but I was glad they where there.Yum!
