Centrally Located & With Excellent Facilities
The Sands Hotel is located at Narrabeen, a northern beaches suburb of Sydney. It is situated across the road from Narrabeen Beach, making it the ideal accommodation for beach lovers. From Sydney CBD, it takes approximately 40 minutes by car or 30 minutes to Palm Beach.







The 46 room hotel offers several room types including:

Studio Rooms
Studio rooms contain a queen bed with single sofa bed, private balcony, LCD TV with Foxtel connection, broadband internet access, air conditioning and telephone.

Ocean View Suites
Ocean View Suites include a queen size bed, double sofa bed and ocean views, private balcony, LCD TV with Foxtel, broadband internet access, air conditioning and telephone

One Bedroom Apartments
One bedroom apartments feature a queen sized bed, designated work area and kitchen as well as a private balcony, LCD TV with Foxtel, broadband internet access, air conditioning and telephones.

All rooms are spacious and also include a fridge, shower over bath or spa bath and iron & ironing board. They are serviced daily and have lift access.

The Sands Hotel has 24 hour reception, conference facilities, gym and complimentary underground parking.

Continental and hot breakfast is available 7 days a week in the Bistro and is served between 6.30am – 9.30am during the week and 6.30am – 10am on the weekends.



For lunch or dinner, enjoy a relaxing meal and take advantage of the many specials The Sands Hotel offers.

Monday – Friday between 12noon – 2.30pm
$9.90 Lunchtime Meal Deals – choose from Rump Steak, Chicken Schnitzel, Pie of the Day, Beef Burger, Fish and Chips or Roast of the Day

Monday Night Beer Can Chicken for only $15.
Includes your chicken meal and a can of beer

Tight Ass Tuesdays between 6pm – 9pm
Choose any item on the menu up to the value of $28 and pay only $15.

Wednesday $11 Steak Night
Not only do you get an order of Rump Steak, but also a schooner of Bluetongue lager

The Sands Hotel features two bars – Oceans Bar, which overlooks Narrabeen beach and the Lakeside Sports Bar with a fully equipped TAB and lots of TVs to watch your favourite sports on.



If you are travelling by public transport, no problem. There is a bus stop right outside The Sands Hotel. Walk across the road to several cafes, including the popular Driftwood Cafe, a 7/11 Petrol Station, fruit market and supermarket.

On the beachside, you will find a viewing platform and a
footpath, where children can ride bikes and scooters and also a grassy area for picnics and ball games.



The beach right outside the hotel is not patrolled and generally only suitable for surfing. However, if you walk up north from the hotel you will come across a surf club and safe swimming area.



Alternatively walk down south approximately 10-15 minutes and you will arrive at the stunning Collaroy Beach, which is also patrolled.

Narrabeen, with its beautiful beach and lake, is the ideal location for a weekend getaway and The Sands Hotel provides lovely accommodation, convenient location and all the facilities you may need to make the most of your stay.
