I write a lot of reviews about hotels and restaurants. For the Saleyards Hotel or The Yardz, my focus has to be food. This hotel has such an amazing range of food on offer. The Yardz offers a variety of meal specials, in a comfortable atmosphere, with friendly staff.
Burger at The Yardz
Happy Hour is every Tuesday and Friday at The Yardz, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Come in for a Parmi and a pot for $13.50, or Porterhouse and a pot for $14.50. Not a bad price for a great meal.
Sunday nights are Parmi Nights (Parmi Day). Head to the Yardz on Sunday for a Parmi, with chips, salad or vegetables for $13.50. The Yardz serves a variety of Parmisan meals. Here is a list of the variety of Parmis on offer: Mexican, Hawaiian, Greek, Aussie,Spanish, Italian, English.
Tijuana Steak, the Yardz
How about this steak? Makes my mouth water! Eye fillet steak, marinated in a salsa sauce, topped with gaucamole and sour cream, and served with your choice of salad or vegetables.
How about a Burger? The Yardz has Burger night on Wednesday nights. The burgers are served with chips. The normal menu is still available on Wednesday nights.
Some other choices on the menu sound tantalizing. Try a pan seared Barramundi in a seafood broth with chilli caramel.
Friday night at The Yardz come in for a meal, a cold beer and enter the raffles to win a meat pack.
The Yardz is open 7 days a week from 10.30am onwards. Lunch and dinner is served 7 days a week, with lunch from 12.00pm to 2.00pm, and dinner from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.
This hotel has a lovely, spacious beer garden, to cater for events, hens nights, bucks parties, functions. You can book the beer garden for your private function.
Mixed Grill at The Yardz
The Yardz has special nights, like parmi nights, steak nights, happy hour, you can dine in or sit in the beer garden. There is a pool table, a bar and bistro / dining area. Enjoy a beer or meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I hope you enjoy your dining experience at the Yardz.
