A high-stakes, interactive evening of subterfuge, treachery, backstabbing, and laughs!

Direct from a hit season in San Francisco, the award-winning comedy show The Saboteur: An Interactive Game of Trust returns to The Factory Theatre as part of this year’s Sydney Comedy Festival. Tickets are now on sale - three shows only!

The Saboteur is perfect for fans of whodunnits, Theatresports, The Mole or Whose Line Is It Anyway.

A mashup of improv comedy and reality TV shows, The Saboteur features a small cast of performers who are given a series of comedy challenges and scenarios to play. The catch? Before the show, one of the performers is secretly designated the Saboteur, and tasked with trying to ruin the show by improvising badly - without getting caught!

None of the players, or the audience, knows who the Saboteur is, and the audience has a unique role in trying to unmask the Saboteur on their phones, through a purpose-built interactive website.

Players are eliminated from the show one by one, based on their ability to correctly identify the Saboteur.

It’s devious. It’s hilarious. It’s thrilling. It’s The Saboteur.

"We’ve toured The Saboteur to 8 cities in 3 countries, and the cast for this year’s Sydney Comedy Festival show is our biggest yet," said creator and host Jim Fishwick. "It’s exciting to be able to mix people who’ve played the show before and think they know what’s coming, with some performers I’ve been wanting to get in the show for years."

The cast includes Bridie Connell (Whose Line Is It Anyway Australia), Josh Magee (NTNNNNN), Kat Hoyos (Amazing Grace) and Will Torney (Tagashowie).
