Have you checked out the Three Sixty Fashion Market yet?
Held every few months in the Fitters Workshop in Kingston, this market sells preloved, vintage, retro and handmade fashion items. The aim of the organisers is to prevent clothing from going to landfill and recycling fashion in a fun and enjoyable market. They want the loop between buying and selling fashion to go full circle, hence the name "Three Sixty Fashion Markets" or 360FM.

With these ethics behind them, the organisers have been holding successful markets for the last year and are now celebrating their first birthday with an evening event of fashion parades, canapés, wine and prizes. There will also be sneak peak at the fashions that will be on show the following day for their November markets. This will all be enjoyed at sunset and to the retro sounds of a DJ on site to get the party started.

When you buy your tickets online to the event, you can choose between general admission, front row and second row seating to the fashion parade. If you love fashions from a bygone era, then you will enjoy the music and parade displaying vintage and retro fashions, as well as clothing by local designers. The Three Sixty Market only sells preloved fashion and handmade items, so you won't see any fashions on the catwalk from businesses with shopfronts or clothing that has been mass produced.

On the evening there will also be a preview of a short film "Edge of Light", made by local crew Silver Dory, shot in the Brindabella's near Canberra. This connection with nature and the environment is part of the ethos of the Three Sixty Market and fashion parade.
Also on the night there be a competition to win a fashion gift hamper which will be highly sought after by those who attend. Whilst sipping on local Lerida Estate wines, mingle with other fashion lovers and enjoy the canapé selection with all proceeds going to the Veterans Support Centre.

The Fashion Parade will be held in the same location as the markets, at the Fitters Workshop in Kingston (next to the Old Bus Depot Markets). Check their Facebook page for updated details of the event and the exciting new additions to the line up.

The evening will be a great opportunity for lovers of fashion to get together and support creative locals in showcasing their finest work, before coming back the next day to shop in the markets. With two fun and glamorous fashion events held over both days, you are sure to find some original additions to your Spring wardrobe.
