Chase away the winter blues this July by a visit to the Bastille Festival - Christmas in July at The Rocks. The Rocks will turn into a twinkling lit Christmas Village from the 11th to the 14th of July.

Last year saw over 250 000 attendees, so due to the popularity of this event, The Bastille Festival has doubled the number of chalets - making it 25 authentic wooden chalets, imported straight from Europe.

Lots to see, experience, taste and hear. Snowfall machines will fill the air with snowflakes, Christmas pines aroma, artisanal decorations flittering in the glow of fairy lightning, fresh-made gingerbread house and delicious treats will be on offer.

The air will be alive with Christmas carolers and the aromatic wafts of authentic French winter food: saucisson, foie gras and traditional crepes to create a total French winter festival with all the trimmings.

Most exciting is the new Alpine Village brought to you by Club Med. There will be a free mini-ice skating rink exclusively for the kids.

Get festive and warm yourself with mulled wine or discover the excellence of French wines while you embrace the snowy magic of Christmas in July the French way.

Inhale the scents of a European Christmas, freshly-baked gingerbread, hot mulled wine, chestnuts roasting on an open fire. The local tenants will also be joining the party with a giant log to be created by La Renaissance or you can settle in at the secret ginger beer bar hidden in The Rocks.

Sing along with the Christmas carollers singing all the Christmas hits in French and English and there may even be a surprise visit from the big man himself - Santa Claus (Papa Noël in French).
