Located in the heart of The Rocks, The Rocks Cafe spans two floors and offers outdoor seating. Its prime location alongside its extended outdoor seating area, enables the cafe to enjoy high visibility.

Interesting interior, The Rocks Cafe

Displaying on the dessert cabinet at the shop front, you can find an array of choices for dessert. Drawn to its wide selection of dessert and its ambience, I've been to this cafe occasionally for a sweet treat. I would say that the food is a bit over-priced, but I love the atmosphere, the mood and its interesting decor - a touch of European style, the comfortable leather booth and dim lighting. Make sure you look up as there are paintings hanging on the upper part of the wall.

I love seating on the leather booth, facing the window side where I can see the street scene. As the MCA is located opposite to the cafe, it is pretty handy to come to the cafe before or after visiting the art gallery.

On my recent visit, I ordered the Cake of the Day - the chocolate mud cake, which was warmly served and was delicious. Its richness came with delicacy. The photo just simply doesn't do it a justice.

A cup of coffee is always a good companion for the cake. The coffee was presented nicely with great aroma.

The cafe is not on my frequently visited list, but I know that I won't be disappointed when I come over for a delightful dessert.
