The Rock Face is open to the public at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct every Saturday and Mondays to Saturdays during school holidays. This ten metre high covered rock wall has more than ten different climbs, offering varying degrees of difficulty from beginner to professional skill levels. For those better-than-average rock climbers in search of a challenge, there are crack-only climbs and overhangs too. The Rock Face has automatic belay systems which are ideal for solo climbs, but rest assured there are always experienced programme staff on hand, ready and able to assist climbers in scaling and conquering new heights.

Fees and charges for 2023
Rock climbing is a great activity for school holidays
Casual climbing $12.55 per person; entry price includes all equipment;
All climbers are required to complete an activity release form before actual climbing begins;
Please ensure climbers wear sturdy enclosed shoes;
Rock Climbing details
Bookings are essential, choose from one of the four daily sessions now available (see above Opening Hours)
Suitable for children aged five years and older. Children aged between five and twelve years of age need to be accompanied by an adult;
Enclosed shoes to be worn at all times. Please bring a water bottle;
The Indoor Rock Climbing entry is via Currimundi Road. Once inside, indoor entry is just past reception.
The Rock Face caters for beginners to experts
The Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct has opened their pool to the public every Saturday from 9.00am to 4.30pm and every day throughout school holidays, except for Sundays. All ages are welcome to come along to enjoy the pool, with children under the age of fifteen to be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Entry to the pool is $5.00 per person (author has been unable to confirm pricing/times at time of writing).

Indoor Rock Climbing, with the added benefit of now being able to have a swim too, ensures a fun, exciting and energetic day for the whole family.
