A Fusion of Asian Music and Performance Arts
Where do you seek refuge from the busyness of life, the long list of demands and the place to free your heart and mind? If you are looking for some refuge, The Refuge of Rhythm might be right for you. This free event features a range of collaborations between the best of Brisbane's world music and visual artists. Together, the artists create a rich tapestry of innovative, artistic performances. The exciting music program is complimented by visual art including projected imagery, contemporary dance, calligraphy art and shadow puppetry.

Some of the artists participating in this cultural event at the majestic Brisbane City Hall's Main Auditorium include Geoff Fabila, Tashi Lhunpo Monks of Tibet, Takako Nishibori and more.
