It's raining umbrellas! Hundreds of beautiful, vibrantly colourful umbrellas are suspended gracefully between the treetops at The Ginger Factory, creating a sensational garden walk canopy - symbolising a community of hope.



The RAINBRELLA Project is a sculptural installation artwork comfortably snuggled into the rainforest gardens of the iconic Ginger Factory, a breathtaking installation collaboration between artist, Sophy Blake Art and The Ginger Factory .



The eye-catching RAINBRELLA artwork explores the theme of hope, promise and new beginnings. As we all well know, rainbows are metaphorically renowned to be a symbol of hope, a symbol that, despite the darkness of storms or the adversity of life, can magically appear on the horizon, eliciting a feeling of serenity and happiness. With each colour within the rainbow signifying an expression of hope and optimism, rainbows bring the promise that all the hardships of today will, with the dawning of a new day, be in the past.

Red = Passion and Security
Orange = Fun and Enjoyment
Yellow = Clarity and Happiness
Green = Health and Nature
Light Blue = Peace and Knowledge
Blue = Spiritualism and Mystery
Purple = Imagination and Creativity



The RAINBRELLA Project is the very first artwork of its kind within the Sunshine Coast community and it is hoped that this striking installation will bring joy, happiness and peace to the lives of all who journey through the colourful paths of The RAINBRELLA Project.



Grab a coffee and a bite to eat and take a seat or a slow stroll under the magnificent canopy of colour and delight in the magical feeling of being surrounded by a rainbow of colour, it's sure to bring a smile to your face.

The RAINBRELLA Project is presently an on-going installation at The Ginger Factory . Whilst out and about enjoying the rainforest walks, make sure to look out for The Gruffalo , who may well be on the 'prowl'.
