The Purple Moose isn't a cocktail, but, it does mix a mean drink of black ground coffee beans and milk to make a fabulous double shot skim latte. Yes it does.



It started when I had a three day assignment a little way down Botany Road Rosebery, in an industrial part of the world where there was nothing but a Newsagents and, from my window what looked to be a hole in the wall. Good hole!

Coffees were fabulous, the boys behind the counter were super friendly, the seating was comfortable and their cakes, were not of the gluten free persuasion, but I was told that they were coming in!! This tiny little cafe fit had enough furniture and nick nacks crammed in to make it look elegantly rustic and yet quite homey. A lot said for a couple of boys just 'roughing it."





Nothing fancy but excellent coffee and service. If you're ever on your way to the airport or just lost in Roseberry/Alexandria, then park your car on the street and jump take a break at this little part of industrial mania.



To be truthful, I was a little bit hesitant going in, but, for a little nook on a busy road where there isn't much happening, this place really is happening! It was such a pleasant surprise to find what looked to be nothing, a real something.
