The Psari Shop - Fish and Chips in Dulwich Hill, is a family run business aiming to fill the food gap of quick, gourmet takeaway. You can order online so your food is ready on-arrival and they uniquely offer eight different options to season your chips, including:
'Special salt' (a mixture of all salts)

If you prefer something fancier (and somewhat healthier) then you have the choice of Grilled Baby Barramundi or Grilled Salmon - $15 which comes with either salad or chips. Of course, if you want chips and salad with your grilled fish, for $17.50 you can have both.
Kids are looked after as well, they can get 3 fish cocktails, chips and a juice - $7.50 or you can add additional fish cocktails to your main order for just $1.50 each.

The Psari Shop has now become my regular Thursday night dinner stop and after six visits, it's been consistently good. The salt options are still a novelty and offer a simple way to make each meal different. Staff always tear a little hole in the paper bag, ensuring the steam can escape, so your chips will still be crispy when you get home. It's a small gesture but makes a big difference to the overall experience as I've encountered multiple fish & chip shops that don't bother with this.
Their online ordering gives you a specific time the food will be ready which is handy for those who are time-poor, or with hungry kids. There's no extra fee for ordering online, unless you opt for home-delivery. Even if I order on arrival, the longest I've waited is around ten minutes.

If fish isn't your thing, they also offer marinated chicken burgers - $9 or wagyu beef burgers - $9 with homemade sauce. If you are feeding a mob, then a Combo Pack - from $13 to $48 includes a selection of fish, calamari, prawn skewers, potato scallops, chips, and salad.
