The Prodigy will debut tracks from their new album The Day Is My Enemy on their 2015 Australian tour
Godfathers of Rave The Prodigy return to Australia this March, headlining the Future Music Festival as it rolls across the country.
Since achieving success with their controversial first hit single 'Charly' in 1991, Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality have made The Prodigy one of the most influential bands on the dance music scene. International success in the mid-1990s with the iconic 'Firestarter' and 'Breathe' brought hard dance, techno and electronica to the masses, opening the door for acts such as The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, with the band continuing to inspire dance artists across the globe.
In an exciting exclusive, Australian fans at Future Music will be the first in the world to hear tracks from the band's latest album
The Day Is My Enemy, out on 30th March. "It's classic Prodigy," Howlett told triple J recently. "It's got a violent energy about it, It just doesn't stop, it's quite relentless, a very on-the-edge sound." There is an extra treat in store for Sydneysiders at the conclusion of the festival with a one-off gig in the more intimate surrounds of the Big Top at Luna Park on March 11.
Truly one of the world's most spectacular live bands, prepare for a night of insane dance moves, wide eyed craziness from lead singer Flint and, perhaps most importantly, legendary music. Tickets for The Prodigy's six shows are on sale now
