Hauntings and history. What a combo.
Enjoy both when you undertake the Police Paddocks Paranormal Investigation in the mysterious reserve that purportedly holds huge secrets. Organised by the Victorian Heritage History and Paranormal Society this is a history lesson where you may also experience the paranormal as you explore the site over two hours.
Paranormal investigation is another term for ghost hunting. The practice is the process of investigating locations that are reportedly haunted by ghosts. Ghost hunters try to collect evidence of paranormal activity by taking photos or using equipment that may be able to detect the presence of spirits.
This site on this occassion is the Police Paddocks in Brady Road Dandenong North which has been home to the First Nations People, the Native Police Corps, the Melbourne-Westernport Aboriginal Protectorate Station, the Victorian Police Horse Stud Depot, and several buildings.
But it also has a dark past - with several cold case murders linked with this site, and a burial ground yet to be located and described by Assistant Protector William Thomas as containing graves of both Aboriginal and European persons.
Investigate and attempt to uncover strange phenomena with a medium and equipment relating to the History of this fascinating place.
The organisers, Victorian Heritage History and Paranormal Society Paranormal and Historical Tours across the Mornington Peninsula.
The tour is at night. Tickets $38.37
