For a FREE multicultural celebration during the Australia Day weekend, take the family and head out to Port Melbourne. Presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria, the Piers Festival returns on 25 January, highlighting Melbourne's diverse population and Victoria's rich history of migration.

Princes and Station pier in Port Melbourne were historical entry points for immigrants and refugees who travelled to Australia by boat. The festival will bring the same pier alive with a day of music, dance, food, exhibition, talks and markets that reflects our shared diverse migration history. You and your family will also enjoy first-hand migration stories from migrant communities and how they built their new lives in Australia.
