No I am not talking about Life Savers or soft mints, but gold!

Take a trip down Hay Street, or catch the Red Cat bus which has a stop right outside the entrance to marvel at nuggets, bars and coins of gold. You can also have a go at picking up a block of gold, however the security may make you think twice about taking it as a souvenir. If you really take a shine to what you see in the exhibits there is always the gift shop!

The tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic, he really put on quite a show! The highlight of which was the demonstration of a gold pour, which happens on the hour throughout the day so you can be guarantee to see one.

Unfortunately there is a strict no photographs policy, which as a tourist is quite unbecoming but alas you can understand the security reasons behind this.

There are currently renovations going on, which will not affect your visit however they will reduce the admission price!

Overall a good tourist attraction that won't take more than 2 hours of your day.
