I've been to on multiple occasions and the pictures in this article are the best from each visit. On my most recent trip, my husband and I stopped in for breakfast first thing on a Friday morning. We were set to move houses that day and as we just lived next door, we intended to have a nice big breakfast to fuel us for the day and get moving. We got in right at 7:00am and were sadly informed that their breakfasts don't actually start until 7:30am. This is definitely worth noting if you're kinda pressed for time as we were. We also got the impression that our early presence was a little inconvenient, which made for an awkward start.

Thankfully, my husband never skips a beat and asked if instead we could go for something they had in display fridges, and thankfully there were a few breakfast-appropriate dishes. I had a chicken fajita and my husband ordered a pulled pork lasagna stack . The fajita was pleasant but a little meek and mild for my taste preferences, it was lacking the usual chilli kick and bold spices I expect from Mexican dishes. My husband devoured his pulled pork lasagna and loved every bite of it.

THIS is what their normal calibre of breakfasts look like - Avocado Dukkah with a chunky pickled beetroot relish. Oh my days, these are what breakfast dreams are made of. The "bread" (I use the term loosely) underneath was luxuriously dense and moist like a torte of nutrient-dense nutty goodness, and a healthy 3-inch or so thickness. Each bite is a whirlpool of cream from the avocado, silk from the soft egg yolks, umami from the nut bread, tang from the beetroot and crunch from the rocket salad. I've had this dish so many times I can practically taste it as I sit here recounting, and for that reason, I will be back for many more.

'Pear'fect Pantry take their breakfast *super* seriously and as such, their breakfast menu changes every six weeks. Other beloved brekkies I've sampled there included a simply *divine* pulled pork hash with poached eggs, hollandaise and jalapenos, and my husband particularly loved the big breakfast (they also do a 'small' big breakfast version) with their famous homemade baked beans.

The décor is very much shabby-chic thanks to the scatterings of re-purposed and up-cycled furniture such as plant features on the walls made from chopping boards with jars, baby succulents growing in glass bottles, mirrored vanity doors with scrawled messages advising, "Stressed is desserts spelled backwards" and "A yawn is a silent scream for coffee". Any and all nuggets of wisdom regarding coffee are always a win for me.

also offer a number of extra goodies such as high teas, hampers and even catering. A couple of other assorted perks include the use of organic ingredients and local producers such as organic coffee from Yahava, organic tea from Tea Tonic and free range eggs from Eggs by Ellah. They also have a seriously yummy range of vegan treats and raw sweets, also.

There seem to be mixed reviews floating around about the attitudes and attentiveness of the waitstaff and admittedly I have also had varying experiences but overall, the good heavily outweighs the bad and 's title of "Wembley's hidden gem" is well-deserved.

Heed my advice when I say this place isn't the easiest to find. I suggest parking on Bath Street, Wembley and then wandering down. You won't see it from the road, so follow the signs and the pathway past the old laundromat, and once spot the pears and you're good to go.
