Kingaroy is very famous for peanuts. The Peanut Van was established in 1969 and can be found at 77 Kingaroy St. You can't miss it as you drive into town. It's a much-loved icon of the town and receives hundreds of visitors annually. From freshly roasted peanuts to peanuts in many flavours, there is something for everyone. Of course, there is also freshly made peanut butter for sale too. Many other towns around the area also have their own vans, so when you want to buy more tasty peanuts you can always stock up in another town.

Nearby there is a lovely wee park where you can sit and enjoy your peanuts while your children have fun in the playground.

Across the road is Troy Garnet, the Stingless Bee Hive Maker. Est. in 2015. He sells Troibox Hives along with products made with the honey. Troibox is a nationwide supplier of beehives for Australian Stingless bees.

So two very good reasons to stop as you approach Kingaroy to check out these two interesting Kingaroy icons.
