The Paramount Coffee Project

Being around the corner from my work, I've had the chance to try out the
Paramount Coffee Project a few times.
This place bleeds hipster. It is a cafe in the bottom of the Paramount Pictures and Vice Magazine office, in Surry Hills. It's next door to the Golden Age Cinema and Bar, which screens some classics.
This cafe has great coffee, brought to you by Reuben Hills and Seven Seeds in Melbourne. For those of you who drink soy milk, you should know that Paramount only uses almond milk as an alternative to cow's milk (and they make it themselves).
There are some indulgent options for lunch. I've tried the Crab Po Boy. The Elvis in Cuba was amazing for lunch. The Elvis is like a Ruben with an onion ring, kimchi, pork and other yummy ingredients. It's quite rich though. I had it with a rooibos tea, which I'd go back for.
They've also started serving cronuts.
The staff are friendly and the interior is beautiful, with a pop-up bike shop inside. For bonus hipster points, pick up a copy of Vice (their office is in the same building).
You can't make bookings, so turn up. There's limited seating outside too. It's a beautiful place well-worth checking out. If you can't stay, they have takeaway now.
Grab a copy of the Golden Age Cinema schedule from the middle table. Head over to the Golden Age Cinema bar before you watch your movie. The schedules also make for cool posters.
