As far as locations go, you cannot get a better position for a café. The Pantry is situated within an old beach house and has uninterrupted views over the iconic beach. However, location isn't its only great asset. In addition to its perfect setting, the café offers delicious food with its produce sourced both locally and internationally. Special things happen in the kitchen here and you can taste the difference.
Resembling an up-market delicatessen, The Pantry has a distinctive culinary style which is well represented in its menu. The breakfast menu has a great range of offerings including White Polenta Porridge, Irrewarra Bakery Granola, Artisan Bread, Buttermilk Pancakes, and the usual egg suspects like Eggs Benedict, Florentine and Frittatas, all made from high quality, ingredients which you can taste.
The Poached Liberty eggs, with Bangalow leg ham, hollandaise, toasted sourdough, roasted cherry tomatoes, and fried potato for $21 is my top pick.
There really is something refreshing about a café that focuses on good ambience and nice food. This experience is also enhanced by the opportunity to breathe in the fresh ocean air, which makes you feel completely relaxed and as though you are on a holiday. It truly is a special location.
Given its proximity to the beach and excellent food, it is wise to get here early. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30am until noon.
Based on the great breakfast experience, one would imagine that the lunch and dinner options are also top notch. Lunch and dinner is available from 12noon until late.
Whether it be an early morning breakfast or a nice seaside meal, The Pantry Manly is sure to provide an exceptional dining experience for all.
