Melbourne Central has a wide range of restaurants, cafes and take-away places to satiate your taste-buds at. If you make your way right up to the top - you'll be rewarded with the Pancake Parlour. A name synonymous with sweet and savoury pancakes.

I'm partial to all things savoury and on this occasion I couldn't go past the Mexican Beef crepes. Bring your appetite when you dine here, the servings are really generous and you will not go hungry. Don't worry if you do, there's always dessert.

When mine came out it was one of those 'ohhhhhh' moments.

Perfectly rolled up, it was crammed full of beef mince cooked to the Pancake Parlours 'special recipe' which included almonds, giving it a nice crunchy texture against the silky smooth crepe, spicy taco sauce and topped with lots of fresh shredded lettuce and tasty cheddar cheese.

Just like a taco only lying down! My friend is a chocoholic and she had the 'Chocolate jubilee'. I was told this did not disappoint. Great spot before or after the movies or just for a fun night out.

Insider tip: If you can book the booths out the front, I'd highly recommend it. They are built into the wall and give you a wide view of Melbourne Central , we had a couple of cocktails while waiting and it's a super quirky photo spot.
