Yamba is a sleepy little seaside town that is well worth a visit. It is about 200km south of the Gold Coast or 150km north of Coffs Harbour and is the perfect place to go to for a weekend escape. There are plenty of nice places to stay, and there are also loads of nice places to eat. The restaurant that has the best view in town has got to be . It is a spacious establishment with massive windows that offers its patrons the chance to look out over the stunning sandy shore and deep blue water of the Yamba coastline. What a picturesque place to have a casual weekend lunch.



My partner and I were happy with the grill menu, and both ordered a burger, although there are many other options. I had the Vegie Burger, which was served with a lemon myrtle sauce, chips and salad ($16.00). I was so impressed with the burger and would go as far as to say that it is one of the top three vegie burgers that I have ever had. The pattie tasted of pumpkin, chickpea and cumin.



It was a generous sized burger, and the tiger bread roll and salad was very fresh (especially considering we only just ordered in time before the kitchen closed). The chips were chunky and flavoursome, although my only complaint is that they could have been hotter.

My partner ordered the Wagyu Beef Burger, which was served with bacon, bush tomato relish aioli, battered fries and salad. He thoroughly enjoyed his burger too, as the pattie was thick and perfectly cooked. The salad was ample and the dressing was pleasant.



We were both very impressed at the sheer size of the burgers. We entered the restaurant with a healthy appetite and we left completely satisfied.
