Researchers from the University of Melbourne are seeking volunteers for a study looking at ways of helping people recover from musculoskeletal conditions (low back pain, neck pain and whiplash and knee osteoarthritis).Volunteers are allocated to one of two treatment groups. One group is treated by their usual doctor or health professional and the other group is given treatment based on their response to the research questionnaires, with care provided by their usual health professional and/or a specialist physiotherapist. Participants will receive two $25 vouchers and complete online questionnaires 4 times over one year. People who have started a new period of health care for their neck pain, whiplash, low back pain or knee osteoarthritis in the last 4 weeks may be eligible to take part.To register your interest for the study, please visit the website: www.pacestudyvic.com.au For more information, email the trial coordinator Libby Spiers: [email protected]
