The autumn edition of The Other Art Fair Sydney is set to take over Barangaroo Reserve's The Cutaway from 19 to 22 March. More than 130 emerging artists have been selected to exhibit, with 90 of these artists making their debut at The Other Art Fair Sydney.

The fair takes place during Art Month Sydney, the city-wide festival that celebrates contemporary art throughout March.Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair provides visitors with the unique opportunity to discover and buy contemporary art direct from emerging and independent artists. Plus new and longtime art lovers can enjoy a dynamic four-day public program featuring live tattooing on-site, UV life drawing, a virtual reality burger cave, a live DJ set and delicious street food.

Highlight of The Other Art Fair Sydney include:[BREAK]Damien Hirst Looking for Sharks: Damien Hirst Looking for Sharks: This inflatable masterpiece from art collective Cool Shit will welcome Sydneysiders to The Other Art Fair this March. The work is a reference to Hirst's most impacting work in which he captured and placed a large tiger shark in formaldehyde (which was later sold for 12 million). Considering the shark was captured on the coastline of Sydney, the artist thought it would be fun to imagine him with his pink snorkelling gear on the hunt for his first million. Debuting in 2018, The Other Art Fair has found a new home for Damien and his snorkel on Barangaroo Harbour.[BREAK]UV life drawing: Opening Night and Friday Night visitors are invited to step into a shipping container and enter the UV-lit world created by Nat Cheney, where they can try their hand at drawing the figure in front of them using UV paints. [BREAK]Son of Mine: In partnership with Art Month Sydney, artist and contemporary dancer Maxine Carlisle will perform this project exploring the monster that lies within on Opening Night as part of March Dance.[BREAK]Burger Herder: Enter the world of burger herding, watch shadows on the wall of this burger cave and explore the inside of the high sugar- and high salt-fueled fast food with this interactive VR installation by Sydney-based artist Julian Wolkenstein.

[BREAK]Live tattooing on site: Hand-poked tattoo artist Hello Hunter will take up residence at The Other Art Fair Sydney, with tattoos starting from $150 on a first-come, first-served basis.[BREAK]Interactive live artwork: Watch artist Shannon Crees create a digital animated artwork live. [BREAK]Creative workshops: Visitors can get their hands dirty at the fair, with a range of workshops available spanning ink drawing and screen printing. Throughout the fair, food from some of Sydney's favourite venues will be on offer, including Slow Head Boy's popular Chinese street food, Brickfields' melt-in-your-mouth pastries and Bliss Bowls' delicious and nutritious bowls. The Other Art Fair bar will be pouring wines, beers and plenty of other drinks for thirsty art lovers, with coffee served up by Pull 'n Shots.
