Old Reynella Christmas pageant 14 December
Support the community of historic Old Reynella

With so many Christmas pageants and other events happening at this time of year, how do you decide which ones to go to? I'll make it easy for you. The Old Reynella Christmas pageant is offering free entertainment and subsidised costs on food and drinks, thanks to some very generous fairy vendors.

The Christmas elves have been busily coordinating pre-pageant entertainment including free face painting and belly dancers to get everyone in the spirit before the main event, and this year's pageant sees the start of a new tradition the appearance of a pageant King and pageant Queen, children who live in the local Southern area. Application details for next year's pageant will be available from the Reynella Christmas Pageant Facebook page in February 2019. There will, of course, also be a visit from the big man himself.

This affordable family pageant really is a great way to kick start the school holidays, but it doesn't end when the last float leaves the parade. The event is followed by a Twilight Christmas Carol service and markets at Reynella Neighbourhood Centre where families are invited to enjoy a picnic or sausage sizzle on the grounds while children are entertained and explore the Christmas themed activities on offer. So, what are you waiting for, make the Old Reynella Christmas pageant your final stop for 2018.
