The hi-tech ship

Speed is very important for the Ocean Warrior to stop illegal whaling and illegal activity on commercial vessels. The ship has undergone extensive modifications, such as massive fuel tanks.

One tool, nicknamed Fifi, is a high-pressure hose that pumps out water at a rate of 20,000 litres per minute. They use Fifi to prevent the poachers from getting too close to whales or fish.

So, come and experience what it's like to work and live on Ocean Warrior while it is moored in Darwin! Meet the crew and hear first-hand stories of their recent campaign triumphs. Please note that minimum age for this tour is 8 years old, due to safety reasons as access is via a ladder.
