Relax at the Lagoon Pool at Oaks Resort
The Oaks Pacific Blue Resort at Port Stephens is a wonderful stay for a romantic break for 2 or even with the whole family. I first visited this Resort for my birthday in September. Easy to find, the Oaks is a Resort unlike any other.

What makes this Resort so different is the beautiful lagoon that runs around its centre. With comfortable beach chairs and a water side Bar one can start relaxing the minute you step into the Resort. We reached the resort on a Friday afternoon and were checked in by the efficient staff. We made our way into the Studio room which was comfortable and clean with basic amenities.

We then made our way into the Lagoon area. It was a beautiful area with clear water. Another great part of the Resort is that you can even get a room with a deck so you can swim out into the pool straight from your room! If swimming laps is not something you want to do on a holiday, then don't fret, there is even a Hot tub!

While we were not allowed to take the drinks out of the Bar area, we did try a few cocktails sitting at the Bar and enjoying watching the sun set.

The Oaks Resort definitely offers great value for money. Clean, well maintained and with an ample parking, the Oaks offers a comfortable stay. Over all we had a wonderful stay here and will most definitely come back for another relaxing break from busy city life.
