It’s nearly Christmas, which means it’s time for all our favourites. Love Actually. Home Alone. The Grinch. And of course, The Nutcracker , the magical ballet filled with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score, the magical dream realms and festive wonders which makes it the ideal way to start the festive season.

Each day will have one or two performances at 1.30pm, 6.30pm or 7.30pm, and because this is a fabulous family show, there are a range of prices that will make it easier for everyone to work out what they can afford.

Standard prices are $66 to $437 for adults 18 and over. An Australian Pensioner will cost $53 to $370, as will an Australian student with a full-time Australian Student card, and anyone under 30 at the time of the performance. Children under 18 will cost $38 to $269, and for each of these tickets, you must be able to provide a valid ID. Children under 15 must be accompanied at all times, and children aged 0-23 months at the time of the performance can sit on their parent’s lap free of charge. Any child two and older must have a valid ticket.

Tickets will go on pre-sale for Sydney Opera House Insiders from 10am on the 23rd of November, and will be on sale to the general public 24 hours later.
