Summer's coming, and what better way to get in shape then to start eating clean. It's the first step to creating a healthier and more positive life. In saying this, I'm delighted to see more clean cafes, and healthier options so readily available in Adelaide. is a hidden gem located on Ann Street in Stepney, just off Magill Road. Ann Street is surrounded by beautiful and captivating street art, which instantly reminds me of Melbourne's little side alleys lined with cafes and small nooks. It's good to see that Adelaide is supporting local artists and the idea of street art.

The exterior of this place is fantastic and possesses a rustic look with its terracotta style facade and tin roof. The interior is beautiful also and extremely earthy. The natural light fills up the room and creates an airy environment that feels grounding and raw, however refined and delicate at the same time. The large table inside is communal which creates a comfortable, laid-back and social atmosphere. There are also secluded spots or benches to sit if you'd like a more private experience. I love the colour scheme and the way the neutral tones come together to create a warm and earthy ambiance that is still cool and fresh. It definitely enhances the 'clean' and 'healthy' elements explored in their food.

I ordered the raw zucchini salad, that was delicious and nutritious and was filled with zucchini style noodles, peas, spinach, slivered almonds and crumbly, soft feta cheese. It comes with a side of house-made aioli, however I opted for a simple dressing of extra virgin olive oil instead. Although the salad was raw and light, I felt extremely satisfied and full.

My friend ordered a dish that included a frittata made with free range eggs, and a side of tomato, spinach and mushrooms. If you're after a fresh juice, then you're in luck, as offers a range of different blends, which are perfect for the warmer days coming up. In addition to all this lovely food, you'll be spoilt for choice with dessert options. Who knew you could make such spectacular desserts from simple, wholesome,
natural and organic ingredients? You'll be drooling at the sight of these babies. My friend ordered a chia pudding with strawberries and coconut whipped cream. I was eying off the flourless chocolate cake with coconut chocolate ganache and bee pollen, but that is one I'll leave for next time.

Overall, this place deserves more recognition as it really showcases what amazing food you can create from simple ingredients. It's also a lovely environment, and I'll definitely be returning again. It's perfect for breakfast or brunch on a sunny Sunday or any day of the week.
