This dessert dish is a work of art! Not only does it look amazing, it tastes sensational! The chocolate and orange notes hit you as you take a bite of the crispy chai infused brioche.
The Northcote STN located in High Street, just next door to "Yokoso" and around the corner from Northcote Plaza, has just recently opened its doors. Inspired by the London underground system, the interior has off white walls, subway tiles with cushy seats and a large communal table at the front entrance. As you enter you better "mind the gap"! The menus resemble train tickets and the staff, especially Jerry (part owner), made us feel very welcomed.
The Chai Brioche dessert dish consisted of two lightly toasted brioche slices, topped with mouth watering ingredients. Smooth peanut butter parfait, Corella infused pear, mandarin segments, and decorated with a colourful array of edible flowers, drizzled with chocolate, espresso and star anise glaze.
I wasn't going to share THIS dessert! Too delicious.
