Sonal and Kanika, otherwise known as The Nifty Cooks, invite you to experience the rich and diverse culture of India and its vibrant cuisine with their fun and interactive cooking workshop series!

Held regularly in an accessible Kingsbury venue, this engaging series of cooking workshops is ideal for anyone - from foodies who love traditional and authentic Indian cuisine, to keen cooks who are looking to embrace new spices and taste sensations.

The workshops are presented in a relaxed and social atmosphere and over 3 fun-filled hours Sonal and Kanika will show you how to prepare, cook and serve a diverse range of classic Indian snacks, mains and sweets.

Discover how to create your favourite Indian dishes at home and prepare a tantalising banquet for family and friends.

Here are some of the authentic dishes that will be cooked and prepared as part of upcoming January 2017 workshop:

  • Kadhai Chicken 🌶 - North Indian dish which is famous for its spicy taste and usage of green bell pepper

  • Paneer Butter Masala - A dish that combines Indian cottage cheese in a butter sauce - quite similar to butter chicken

  • Popular Roti Making

  • Carrot Raita - a refreshing yoghurt dip
  • Sonal and Kanika will prepare each dish from scratch and offer easy to follow step by step instructions and ample tips and tricks! Learn how to make the most of aromatic Indian spices and with your handy recipe pack, you will be able to recreate the amazing dishes at home in no time!

    At the conclusion of the workshop, everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a sit-down lunch and savour the beautiful food with a glass of bubbles. As you dine, Sonal and Kanika will take you on a journey through the streets and corners of India with entertaining and funny food stories!

    It's a truly enjoyable experience with lots of laughter and learning. Absolutely everyone is welcome to come along!
