A FREE family-friendly exhibition

Just Another and Wacom have teamed up to launch The Next Level, Wacom's annual digital art event and artist publication launch, which showcases a diverse range of over 50 digital artists' work from across the globe.

Just Another creates a visual and visceral experience through artists and events, while Wacom's vision brings people and technology closer together through natural interface technologies.

This exciting exhibition and publication lauch, which is now in its third year, features the talented winners of 'The Next Level' Instagram competition alongside six elite feature artists, whose designs are created using various Wacom tools.

This year's feature artists are:

Kelogsloops: Hieu Nguyen is an emerging Australian artist who goes by the alias, kelogsloops. He specialises in both digital and watercolour paintings and blends realist, abstract and surreal art styles with his anime and cartoon influences.

  • Mark Conlan: Mark Colan is a multi-disciplined illustrator from Dublin, Ireland who currently resides in Melbourne. Mark's style features a strong use of character and composition, empowered by whimsical and emotional situations. He incorporates rich and vibrant colour palettes, resulting in inspiring and atmospheric imagery.

  • Loretta Lizzio: Melbourne based artist Loretta Lizzio channels the uninhabited wilderness in her works. Animals, from the mildest to the barbaric are the vessel Loretta uses to burrow into and reveal her own deeply layered self. Her work captures a sensuous desire for freedom, adventure and love using pen, pencil and oils.

  • Mateusz Witczak: Mateusz is a self-taught lettering artist and graphic designer currently living in Warsaw, Poland. He specialises in hand-drawn lettering and typography designs with a high level of detail, combined traditional methods and tools with the latest digital applications.

  • Nosego: Nosego is a Philadelphia-based artist with a passion for illustration and media arts. His designs feature an assemblage of patterns, vibrant colours and characters derived from his imagination and his surrounding environment.

  • Paul Braddock: Paul Braddock has been a film VFX professional for more than 15 years. His areas of work are conceptual sculpting, design and asset creation, using a broad variety of tools and techniques.

Complementing the six feature artists are the 50 winners of the Instagram competition which was held in May/June 2018. All artwork was made using a Wacom tablet and there was a staggering 3800 entries by international emerging and established digital artists.

The chosen 50 winners will have their artwork printed in the publication and available for sale at each global event. The limited edition 130 page A5, soft cover publication which includes the feature artists bios, images and questions alongside the winning Instagram artists is also available for sale at each global event as well.
