The Nature of Things' is a visual and diverse collection with a variety of visual art mediums on display. The theme of 'nature' in art takes endless forms as nature provides us with a vast wealth of inspiration. This exhibition will have a broad appeal and includes flowers, plants, animals, wildlife, environment and conservation.
There'll be more than 30 artists work on display in this exhibition and visitors can expect to see a wide variety including paintings, drawing, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, woodwork and mixed media. Works range from the beautiful and delicate oil paintings by Margaret Slape-Phillips to the photo-realistic paintings by Annette Dawson. Textile artist, Marzena Kaczmarek, has lovely abstract felted merino wool and hand dyed silk fabric pieces.
There'll also be striking and vibrant jewellery along with stunning woodwork and metal sculptures on show.
