Australians love wacky things! We love things that are bizarre and strange, we like to know all about them and they intrigue us.

As a nation we are also known for our fun loving ways and especially our chance to take a holiday at the drop of a hat.

Perhaps there are not enough celebrations in your life to warrant as many holidays as you would like, so let's look at some of the more bizarre, the wacky and the strange celebrations that take place around the world almost every day.

This month we celebrate July.

I have done my best to collate a list here to cover something nearly every day and I would love to know if you know more of them. Many of these are geared towards American holidays but I have tried to take something from many different cultures.
