Brissie folks are big on a good steak, I've found. When a restaurant prominently boasts 'Brisbane's Best Steaks', they ought to deliver. We're looking at a very competitive market here! From Black Hide to Breaky Creek, you'd have to admit, we've got some contenders in this grassy paddock! There's even some world-class butchers who can top this list.
We dropped into the Morrison Hotel in Woolloongabba on a quiet Monday night, looking for a quick and casual, but decent meal. We were seated quickly in Fiasco's by helpful waitstaff and were very happy with our meals.
Opting for a Graziers Rib Fillet, I wasn't disappointed. Cooked and rested nicely, hot chips and a blue cheese, apple, walnut salad improved my Monday tenfold. Complete with a large serve of sauce and a bottle of red, this carnivore was ready to tackle the rest of the week.
Is this Brisbane's Best Steak?
Best steaks in Brisbane? Depends what you're after, but if you're looking for casual dining, good service and a full plate of food, this is worth heading to the Gabba for.
