The next She Speaks Northside is set to discuss parenting on April 30.

She Speaks Northside brings their next bi-monthly panel discussion to Francesca's Bar in Northcote on April 30 with: The Modern (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered Intersex) LGBTI Family: the kids are actually alright

The event sees Melbourne LGBTI women and their friends together for inspiring and inclusive discussions presented by three engaging panellists. They'll discuss parenting challenges and the evidence that reveals the kids are actually alright.

The open and honest discussion allows for plenty of question and answer time and will cover topics such as how LGBTI families across Australia are tackling parenting issues, what it's like to grow up with two mums, legal issues and much more.

Panel experts will include Jacqui Tomlins, writer and researcher, OUTspoken Families; Sally Nicholes, Partner, Nicholes Family Law and Georgia Weymouth Large.

The event is supported by GLOBE Melbourne and Darebin Council. Tickets are $20, $15 concession or $10 for Globe Melbourne members.

Join for a drink, a panel discussion and networking on Thursday 30 April from 6pm at Francesca's Bar, 222 High St Northcote.
