For those eager to try native Australian ingredients, The Mile End Hotel will be holding a tasting menu featuring those ingredients on 2 May, 5 May and 9 May 2021. This is one of the various events of Tasting Australia, held from 30 April 2021 to 9 May 2021 to celebrate South Australian produce.

Featuring a menu created by the hotel's head chef, David White, participants will get the opportunity to enjoy dishes featuring ingredients such as saltbush, bunya nut and wattleseed alongside local seafood and meat. For those that like to enjoy a drink with their meal, the tasting sessions also include wine and gin-based beverages.
