Win Free Burgers for a Year
Free burgers for a year! Yes, you read that correctly, free burgers for a whole year. That's 365 days of oozy, juicy burger goodness. Head to the bigger, better 2017 Melbourne Burger Invitational where the competition for Melbourne's best burger is heating up and where one very lucky burger fan will win burgers for a year from their favourite vendor.

Melbourne Burger Invitational
Burgers, burgers and more burgers

It seems that you can't walk 100m these days without seeing a new burger place that has popped up. So the 2017 Melbourne Burger Invitational is bringing some of our favourites together:

1090 Burgers
Beatbox Kitchen
Mr Burger
Royal Stacks
BL Burgers - a special guest appearance from this Sydney favourite.

Now that's what I call a burger!
Now that's what I call a burger!

Tickets are available online. For amateurs, the general admission ticket price includes entry, a Burger Invitational t-shirt and the burger of your choice. For the more die-hard looking at sharing the experience with friends, the "Critics Choice" for four people is the ticket for you. It includes entry and four t-shirts, plus one burger from each vendor for you to split and share.

There are also two other packages available for those looking to make a night of it and get drinks included.

The special t-shirts will be a lasting memento - great for popping over your clothes and catching all that saucy spilled goodness.

Welcome to Thornbury, burgers
Welcome to Thornbury - Food Truck Stop

The venue for this event is Welcome to Thornbury (bar and food truck stop) and there will be indoor seating and plenty of big umbrellas to ensure your burgers don't get soggy if it rains. Because no one likes their buns soggy.

To get to the event, catch the South Morang train line and jump off at Croxton Railway Station. Or hop on the number 86 tram and if you're coming from the north hop off at Darebin Street and if you're heading in from the South, hop off at Dennis Street.

Get your tickets now and don't miss out on this burger extravaganza.
