The Manor is a laid back hip-hop bar and lounge that can transform seamlessly into a club atmosphere.
From the dimmed lighting of the chandelier to the comfortable Chesterfield couches this place packs some serious old school class. The dj spinning decks on a refurbished grand piano and heavy curtains draping the red walls give this place some definite personality. When you walk into this seemingly low key almost hidden space you are immediately given the impression you have stepped back in time to a more sophisticated era.
Dj spinning decks on the grand piano
This bar and lounge has definitely retained its exclusivity and underground ambiance by letting word of mouth spread the news about this hidden nightspot.
While there were quite a few guys sipping whiskey on ice on the bar stools, for those with a lighter palate the cocktails are $14 each with friendly bartenders offering up mixed drinks or a good selection of beers. While the dj gets the crowd up on their feet, local hip-hop artists entertain with the some fresh off the decks tracks. This place is a fun night out with friends if you feeling like trying somewhere new and love hip-hop.
Tip do not get there before 10, and the bouncers are pretty relaxed about the dress code.
