Northern Centre for Contemporary Art (NCCA) is hosting an exhibition of two Darwin based artists, Katt Borrow and Danna L. Duncan, in "The Lyrical and Mystical Show". Opening night on 23rd February 2018 was a success with a lot of art lovers in attendance.
NCCA is hidden in a small lane, not far from Parap Market. NCCA assists lot of local artists to exhibit their creations. This program is supported by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments.
Kate Borrow's exhibition, "The Lyrical" has taken place at NCCA Gallery 1. "The Lyrical" is a tribute to The Beatles and Kate's creations coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
At the NCCA Gallery 2, Dana L. Duncan with her "The Mystical", will immerse viewers into a mystical abstract world, full of symbolism and colour. Dana mostly works with gel pens and colouring pencils and uses lots of bright colours.
