According to Edward Zammit, "When night falls here on Earth and the Moon is full and bright, if you are very quiet you can hear laughter and giggles coming from the Moon. I guess you are wondering who is making those sounds. Well, I can tell you it's the LUNA MOONIES."

The Luna Moonies are made up of Blue Moon on keyboards (blue), Strawberry Moon on drums (red), and Mystic Moon (purple) and Full Moon (orange) on electric guitars. There is also lead singer Astronaut Annie who is also the Galactic cook. The group is not complete without Comet the Rapping Rabbit and Star Bright on vocals, as well. Together they are create some wonderfully "Moonfull" harmonies.

This new "rising star", kids singing group is the brain child of Edward Zammit who started his career as a carpenter. This skill then evolved into making toys, inventing games and then writing children's stories to bring those toys to life. The Luna Moonies band are his latest creation and they are taking Melbourne by "geomagnetic storm" appearing and performing to crowds as big as 12,000 happy, dancing, laughing children with parents in tow. And with over 6 books and 8 songs recorded to their name, they are the next "rising stars" in the kids music industry. Move over "Wiggles" another Australian group is heading for the music charts.

Their most recent gig was at Luna Park, just this month. Well, where else would the Luna Moonies hang out when not at home on the Moon. And it gets even more exciting; they have hit television. They have recently been interviewed by Eastern Newsbeat by Producer and Reporter Bill Page for Channel 31/Digital 44 and their songs will be highlighted in the television show "Kidz in the Kitchen" including French Chef Gabriel Gate' in 2016 along with Jacqueline Gawler of Coco's Lunch and Jeremy Woolhouse, Jazz Pianist, adding their music genius.

But who wants to wait for the next full moon to hear this new teen sensation perform. Well, I don't want to wait that long. So, I have used a special supersonic, space satellite recording device and I have overheard them talking about where next they are coming in for a "landing" to sing. I didn't even have to resort to my crystal ball.
Luckily, they have family fun gigs in the not too distant future in October.

So this is your chance to see them live and hear their new "Moonfull" tunes.
